Lover Of God, Family, & Furry Or Feathery Things.

I follow God, have fun with family & formulate good books (in my
day job as an editor and evening pursuits as an author). I spend any spare
moments as a licensed wildlife rehabilitator of wily woodland creatures.

Hi! I’m Trish.

Way back when we were raising kids in the city, I longed to become a wildlife rehabilitator. Once my kids were adults, I earned my license, opened Lion’s Den Rehab, and then just recently wrote a book about my animal adventures. Animals in crisis come in with a backstory we may or may not know. If only they could talk! I always do my best to figure out what happened to them and then fix it so they can regain their freedom fast. Each wildlife rehab story is unique, and I’m excited to share the adventure of it all with you!

God.

The God of the Bible, the Creator of all things, the Great I AM, who was and who is and who is to come.

Family.

My three kids and over half a dozen grandkids, with a husband thrown in for good measure, and not forgetting our church family, friends, and neighbors, too.

Furry & Feathery Things.

Both our domestic pets and livestock hanging about underfoot, and the wildlife I am licensed to rehabilitate, which are not supposed to be hanging about underfoot once the rehabbing is done.
